Pressing the Back button in the camera view brings up a blank screen

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Tap on an entry to edit.
2. From the menu, tap on the "Take Photo" button.
3. Once the camera view is up, press the Back button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is to land the user back to the editing view. Instead, the 
user is greeted with a blank screen. It takes another tap on the Back button to 
get back the editing view.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Nexus 5, Android 4.4
