What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Ensure a Chinese font is installed in Windows Mobile
(e.g. http://www.trendsmobile.com/downloads/sunglobe.cab.zip)
2. Add a Chinese-language RSS feed into pRSSreader
(e.g. http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?
_id=xl2mD4Tl3RGfj_yR1L3fcQ&_render=rss)
3. View the articles of the RSS feed in pRSSreader
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
(a) Each article in the feed is not text-wrapped, resulting in a long
horizontal scroll to read each paragraph. Would be much more readable to
text-wrap based on the available screen size of the Windows Mobile phone.
(The article summary list is however text-wrapped nicely).
(b) Font sizes are too small for display of Chinese characters which would
have been adequate in English. (e.g. Font size of 10 in Tahoma may be
sufficient for English-based articles) but barely readable for Chinese-
based articles). Suggest to allow channel-specific font setting for
articles to overcome font differences.
(c) Tested the same (original) RSS feed indicated above without using
Yahoo Pipes at http://www.yzzk.com/rss/rss.xml. This feed cannot be added
into pRSSreader completely. pRSSreader alerts "Feed was not added".
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows Mobile Phone: Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Operating System: Windows Mobile Professional 6.1
Screen Resolution: 800 x 480
Please provide any additional information below.
Thank you for developing pRSSreader!
