buddy icons do not work #201

Instead of the expected avatar icons, I see a green icq flower with a
yellow light bulb in the front. If the user has no icon defined, I see
nothing (as expected). The flower icon appears only when an icon is defined.

<disableAvatars/> is commented. Activated -D option to get log files, but
the only WARN thing is about message encoding (I'm german). Well, it's very
verbose, what should I look / search for?

I'm using debian squeeze, pyicqt version 0.8.15, python-imaging 1.17,
ejabberd 2.0.16.
