Uninstall removes the directory #468

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Install the red5 in an unproper directory (not an important directory)
2. Fill it with other files, simulating a document directories (for example)
3. Uninstall red5

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- It was expected that the uninstall process removed only red5 files, but
instead it removes the whole directory.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- Red5 0.9 on Windows 8

Please provide any additional information below.

- Of course this is supposed not to happen if you install on default directory,
but if you made a mistake while choosing the directory then the uninstall will
mess the whole thing.

In last paragraph I meant:

- Of course this is supposed not to be a problem if you install it ....

It's built that way to completely clean itself up when you want it uninstalled.
If anyone wants to add a work-around to the NSIS installer script, I would be
more than happy to test / include it.
