AutoCompleteTextBox select all text when drop down list is invisible not working #14

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run AutoCompleteTextBox demo
2. Attempt to select all text, this is not possible as the cursor is reset
back to its original position when the drop down list is not visible. WHen
the list is visible one can select all text etc.
