Statistics Module #79

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Very soon we will need to build a statistics/ reporting module. I have compiled
a list of charts and graphs that I have found helpful in communicating to
organizations and the media.

This is a placeholder for now, until I can have time to post the requirements.

Here are some examples of statistics and reports I have had to run in the past:

----------------
I did a quick count and here’s are a few useful statistics:

• There are 95 “Open” work orders in Atlantic and Monmouth counties: 47
in Monmouth, and 48 in Atlantic.
• 37 are Flood-related
• 30 are Tree-related
• 27 are requests for other forms of help, goods, or services.
• Only 54 of the 95 entries have been entered since January 1st. Older
entries are more likely to have been helped.
• 22 are “Claimed” by an organization.
• NJ 211 and AmeriCorps Washington State have entered the most new work
orders since January 1st.

-------------
Other useful stats:
Total number of [closed/new/open] work orders in the last
[week/month/timeframe/all time] for [All/specific organization] in
[State/County/Organization/Incident]
Total number of
Most active organizations in the last [week/month/timeframe/all time] per
[State/County/Organization/Incident]
Current break-out of work orders/statuses per
[State/County/Organization/Incident]
Running list of 100 most recent updates to work orders in the System [per
Incident]
Estimate of total volunteer hours donated (This will require some assumptions,
many of which may be generated by the system itself).

Andy- once you start working on this, let me know and I'll give you some
examples for each of these.
