What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.as soon as i open dialer it force closes
2.try to view contacts force closes
3.when receiving a call force closes and ends call

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What build are you using? Do you have apps-on-sd? What radio? Did you wipe
after flashing (yes if you are on an auto-wipe build)?
im using build hv1.5r1 on radio 2.22.19.26 i didnt wipe after flashing

Please provide any additional information below.
i upgraded radio thinking it would help but this also happens with the
google builds on my phone can it be that i havent followed a certain step
thanks for the builds by the way kudos.

It's probably not a good idea to switch between various different builds
without a
wipe because the apps/settings vary a bit.

I had this problem too. I was running ADP1.5Hr1 with no wipe. In addition I
couldn't
get my contacts on GTalk or to sync correctly. All I did to fix it was go under
Settings->Applications->Manage Applications, scroll down until you see
"Contacts
Storage" and under that hit "Clear data" Then go back and manually sync your
contact
info and it should work. Hopefully you have all your contacts already synced to
your
gmail account.

Thank you!

I can't begin to count how many times this exact issue has plagued me; i knew
the
databases were different formats between the H and G builds, but never knew how
to
get this issue (which makes the phone ENTIRELY UNUSABLE AS A PHONE) to go away
without an entire device wipe.

Now it works fine!

*claps*
