That's strange. For the past week or so, anyone I have talked to while using
the
sapphire radio driver has complained of crackling/screeching noises over my
voice.
To confirm this, I finally sat down 2 days ago and had someone call me from my
phone.
Sure enough, very loud noises. After reverting to the RC33 driver the noises
were
gone. I did a phone wipe and tested again with the sapphire driver and had the
same
results. I will do some more testing when I get a chance to try and verify the
exact
circumstances.

Thanks

Have same problem. With sapphire radio, people complained about metallic voice
and
echoing in my voice.

Reverting to RC33 radio solved the problem.

I can also vouch for this. My girlfriend complains frequently of hearing an
echo of
herself when she calls me while on the sapphire radio. I've tried wipes,
reflashing
the radio and all, but the only that fixes it is reverting to RC33
