option fast=true misbehaving

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add fast=true to one of the slideshows
2. View index.html
3. Pause all slideshows manually
4. Cursor left/right or click left/right on controller

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect that all the slideshows move one image left/right and hold.

The slideshow with fast=true pauses momentarily...  then transitions to another 
image, and then holds.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
browser?

Occurs in Slideshow-1.3.1 and Slideshow-1.3.1.110417
OS X Safari 5.04
