Parameters list is too long and is full of disabled selections when platforms are selected for filtering

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load campaign with a lot of Measured Parameters, e.g.: 
http://odss.mbari.org/canon/stoqs_september2013/query/
2. Expand the Measured Parameters section
3. Expand the Platforms section and click the "Dorado" button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to have a short list of Parameters to select from the Measured 
Parameters section, instead I see all of the filtered out parameters greyed out 
and unselectable. This affects usability by requiring scrolling to find the 
parameters of interest.

Adding a "Show filtered out parameters" checkbox in the Sampled Parameters and 
Measured Parameters sections with default unchecked should help prevent this 
information overload.
