track on the map does not update

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. select platform (eg tethys) and parameter (eg chl)
2. zoom in pretty far

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Cf attached screenshot.
The track in the depth/time updates, not the one in the map. Plotting the data 
makes it obvious (attached). Not sure if that's a bug or the way it is supposed 
to behave, but I think that both should be updated based on the time/depth 
selection.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
chrome & linux

That is the way it's supposed to behave. For performance reasons the track 
lines on the map are simplified tracks for the whole activity, in this case the 
entire deployment of Tethys. To see what portion of that entire activity you've 
zoomed in on plot the sensor tracks as you have done in the attached screen 
shot.
