Can't Get Past Start-Up Screen #87

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I follow the instructions exactly.
2. Install and flash boot.img
3. See viper startup then stops on HTC One screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the mod to start. It stops at the HTC One screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ViperOneS 2.2.0            HTC One S stock

Please provide any additional information below.

I watched a tutorial on how to install it and followed exactly as he said. 
However, when he started the phone at the end, his had sound and mine does not. 
And it will not go past the screen that says "HTC One." I attatched a picture 
of the screen its stuck on.

Should i try the 2.1.0 version instead?
