r3331: Text not displayed in textonly menus #144

Hi,

I seem to have stumbled onto a bug here:

When I create a textonly menu, the preview is fine, but then after creating the 
DVD structure, the menu does not display the text (or displays it invisible). 
In menus with text and video preview, the text is shown fine.

It "is" there, I can see the green underline for the selected menu item and the 
green line can be moved up and down and then selecting it also starts the 
referenced movie.

But the text is not shown. Also the menu title is not visible (and neither the 
"snow")

If you need additional information, I'll be glad to pass them on as soon as I 
am at home again.

OK, confirmed again on a diffferent box.

You didn't say which command you used to make your menu, there is 'tovid disc' 
(todisc) and 'tovid menu' (makemenu).  Also useful would be the version you are 
using and the logs and screen output from your attempts.

Otherwise it is impossible to debug.  If you are not using current SVN please 
do so, imagemagick has undergone some changes that have been incorporated into 
SVN that didn't make it into 0.33.

OK, attached all that you need

1) the png of the preview (menu items visible fine)
2) the log
3) the resulting iso (menu text not visible)

Okay, thanks, I can confirm this as a regression.  I responded to a similar 
email in the meantime, see:

I will investigate further - it appears the template for the background with 
titles on it is being overwritten at some point, not sure what version the 
regression occurred.  In the meantime you can investigate the workaround 
mentioned in the thread above.

This issue is fixed in tovid SVN rev. 3334.  Sorry it took so long to commit.  
If you are still using todisc please confirm
