idvid.scratch contains mplayer's progress report

I just generated a DVD and noticed, that the idvid.scratch file consisted 
primarily of mplayer's progress report:

A:  11.5 V:   0.1 A-V: 11.491 ct:  0.115   1/  1 ??% ??% ??,?% 0 0

Although the scratch-file is duly removed, when the DVD-generation ends, the 
file reached well over 800Mb in size in my case -- for a 55-minutes video.

There must be a way to suppress this nonsense on mplayer's command-line -- I 
think adding `-quiet' to the mplayer's arguments would do it...

In several places throughout the code the `-quiet' is already being to passed 
mplayer. The attached patch attempts to cover all remaining 
mplayer-invocations. Please, review.
