Unreadable menu font color

On Gingerbread I have an unreadable white font color on menus like in the 
attached screenshot.
I tried deleting app data but that didn't fix it.

I'm sorry but gingerbread is quite old and I don't have any of these devices 
anymore so I won't spend time fixing bugs for these versions anymore.
