Can't leave editing event mode without canceling #16

Add or edit an event; when you are in editing mode you can click a date on
the calendar in the left of the screen. Nothing happens though, I would
expect to be taken to that date. You first have to cancel the editing to
leave editing mode. I would expect to be taken to the date I clicked and
the values that I entered (if any) to be lost.
