Set default cache-time of the calendar to higher value

I use a .ics file which is 306Kb. When I want to see the next week I have
to wait a long time because its loading the .ics file again.

Is it possible to cache the .ics file? (Make it an option in settings)

try changing 'Time between calendar refreshes in millisecond' in 
/app/configuration

this defines how often the calendar is refreshed. note: calendar is also 
refreshed
before an event is added/changed, so it's safe to set this to a high value.
especially if you only use webical to manage your calendar.
