Winamp titles not showing up #315

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Winamp's titles don't show up in Aero Peek
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

For some reason winamp's title doesn't appear properly. Instead I just have a
single track number.

What version of Winamp are you using? What plugin version? On what
operating system?

Windows 7, Winamp 5.581, plugin 1.13

Please provide any additional information below.

If the titles work, I won't need to have the text overlapping the album art.
Also, is there a way to get the album art to fill the whole thumbnail?

I don't think the title issue is related to this plug-in... The only thing it
does is to completely remove it if you enable that in the options.
The thumbnail can't fill it because that's the maximum height allowed, unless I
stretch is horizontally, which will look ugly.

It might be something with the newest winamp version, since I just upgraded it
yesterday. They added some win7 taskbar support, but it's not anywhere near as
good as win7shell IMO. I just can't remember if this glitch happened when I
upgraded winamp or when I installed the plugin...

Winamp's native support won't cause the issue as Winamp's support is disabled
when this plug-in is detected (based on filename). Only having one character
shown is usually a result of other 3rd party plug-ins being installed which
aren't compatible with Winamp 5.34 and higher. I've made a small plug-in which
will patch older plug-ins when Winamp loads to resolve such issues ->
