Can't figure out how to edit my post.
The volume actually changes for every notch the scroll wheel moves, not just
when Winamp passes by.

I think it's a known issue. Not sure I can fix it though. IIRC, I couldn't
differentiate if it's the taskbar thumbail or it's the Flip 3D showing :|

I'm pretty sure it's both :) The taskbar thumbnail shows up in Flip3D then
every notch scrolled in Flip 3D causes the volume to change.
My guess is something would have to be changed in how Flip 3D sends scroll
commands, IOW Microsoft's issue.

No, I meant in the code... To enable the volume control, I check if the
thumbnail is open (no other easy way), but I think the Flip 3D acts the same
way, so I can't tell if it's the Thumbnail showing or the Flip 3D
