An option to add geo tags to RSS feeds without modifying WordPress source
files would be great.

I saw some code in the Geopress plugin (GeoRSS support)
They write the geodata to the feed with the Wordpress Feed Actions at
http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference

Verified by users to work. There's a syntax problem, an unnecessary comma 
between
coordinates, but it doesn't hamper Google's parsing, at least. It'll be fixed 
in the
next release.
