Can calendar open to next month as variable, so don't need to assign specific month number?

My customer wants to have only two months showing on the calendar: current 
month and next month.  She does not want to allow navigation to any other 
months.  So I am building two pages, with navigation between the two pages in a 
link outside the date picker function.

For the current month, I am letting it default to the current month, and 
suppressing the date picker information, so just the current month is displayed 
without being able to get to another month.

For the next month, I could specify month=3 in my shortcode, but then I need to 
change that value each month.

Is there a way to specify current month plus one in the short code?

Only the eventview supports that functionality, the calendar view currently 
does not.
