would be cool, to have support for browsing/using icecast directories 
(http://www.icecast.org/).

I have code for an shoutcast plugin lying around here for ages (so it is 
something very similar). Never finished it. One issue was lack of playlist 
support, which is now underway. Andi is currently working on the integration of 
our self-written playlist parser.

If you want to try doing an icecast or shoutcast plugin or have some thoughts 
about how to integrate it into xnoise GUI - please feel free to leave some 
comments.

I could also search for the old standalone version's code and offer it for 
testing.

If not, this could take some time, beacause I lack resources and there might be 
things that are more important to fix.

Currently, they have support for icecast, magnatune, jamendo, somafm

Upcoming: Digital imported, Spotify, Grooveshark

This is not for change from xnoise to clementine but to use some of the code.
