Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Did you search "All Issues" and not just the "Open Issues" to see if your
problems was already solved or discussed before?

What channel are you trying to watch?

What episode are you trying to watch?
For example dwwd every episode gives the problem. However 2400kbps asf steam
goes fine

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Nothing, only hear the sound, screen overlay of xbmc stays on.
I tried it on windows x 64 xbmc 10.1 dharma then no problem occurs

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Opening beta uitzendinggemist highbitrate > 3600 kbps episodes
2.
3.

What version of XBMC are you using? On what operating system?
Crystal hd ubuntu 8.04 xbmc dharma (also tried xbmc live) V10.1

Please provide any additional information below.

Please ATTACH a complete uzg.log or uzgplugin.log.

Could you please try it as a script (with user interface)?

eh i may seam strange but how do you mean this?

For XBMC (Linux, Windows, ATV) you can install XOT via the repository and then
run XOT as a Video Addon or as a Program Addon

For XBMC4XBox you will have to install XOT twice. Once as Plugin and once as
Script. You can then access them via the Video menu or the Scripts menu.

eh i use as stated atv, i installed it trough the repository and then as video
addon and as program addon?

Original comment by hwgverb...@gmail.com on 4 Jun 2011 at 8:50

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
If you installed it via the repository, you will be able to run XOT via Video
Addons and via Program Addon. Do the latter one (Program Addon). Then it will
create a file called uzg.log. That file I would like to see.

I just realized: NOS made a error in their app by accidentally adding GEO
checking. See my Tweet here:
https://twitter.com/basrieter/status/74501599812268032

I fixed it already and it will be in the next XOT release (soonish, almost
finished documenting my python code)

Could you please check for channel updates via the Repository manager? I see
you run NOS version 3.2.3.0 but there already is an NOS 3.2.3.1 version.

Besides that: from the log I can see this was your first run of XOT after
installing it. Could that be?

Eh no, cause when i experienced it was not working i tried a reinstall of it.
After the update you suggested i get the same problem as with the video add-on
when selecting stream > 3400 i hear only sound. In the program add-on i cant
select the stream bitrate is this normal ?

Original comment by hwgverb...@gmail.com on 5 Jun 2011 at 10:05

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
yes, you set the bitrate from the addon settings. Could you post a uzg.log?

Well, it works fine for Windows (the exact same episode). Perhaps you could try
a more recent (nighlty) build. I know they are tweaking the MMS streams a lot.

Hmm you think its the linux xbmc problem?

Original comment by hwgverb...@gmail.com on 5 Jun 2011 at 8:39

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
If I look at the logfile, I see that XOT correctly get's the URL for the
stream, so as far as XOT is concerned, all is fine.

So the problem must be in the playback of the stream. That is why a more recent
build would be a suggestion.
