Hello. Could you plz add the Norwegian Nickelodeon to the list? And UK too if
not too much hassle?
Thanks for all your great work :)

Hi, please try this version. Keep in mind that not all video's have titles, so
those are not in the listings.

Let me know if it's ok

Apparently the previous one is Swedish (although it was the .no url). Try this
version.

Thanks, but the new list is also wrong.
The one called Nickelodeon.se is correct
The one called Nickelodeon.no has the correct title language, but is also
swedish.
The one called Nickelodeon is german.

No, the one called Nickelodeon is Dutch. So is there a page for the Norwegian
Nickelodeon?

WHen I went to nickelodeon, and Spongebob, I clicked on the first episode. It
was german.
Btw I just discovered that all the episodes are in different languages.
So that's the problem here
Which the "kanalen/" controls the title language, what command controls the
language?

I also don't know which "/videos" to replace with /program, which is the video
path on the norwegian site.
Oh well. I'll try again tomorrow.

There is no trick or so. Just go to the http://www.nickelodeon.no/ site and
select "Videoer & TV" -> Nickelodeon, that exact URL is available in XOT-Uzg.v3
as of now (just did an update).

But if you go through the shows in both the Dutch and the Norwegian version
using your addon, the episodes are all in different languages. The site urls
"nickelodeon.nl/shows" and "nickelodeon.no/program", they'll change the title
language. But the episodes are still random (not the ones on the websites), and
the languages are also random.
When I use wireshark to sniff the video files, I see that the file location and
server is the exact same. But the episodes have only one audio track though
They all look Like this:
rtmp://cp8619.edgefcs.net/ondemand/riptide/r2/production/2012/06/22/ac32dbe1b237
efe70c665f2c1902237b/mp4_640px_1296k_m31_seg0_640x480_1088808.mp4

So I think the only way to have only Dutch and only Norwegian episodes of Nick
cartoons is by manually going through all of them and set up a playlist
manually.
So that is gonna take forever.
There doesn't seem to be a system here. They simply upload episodes to the
server, call them random names and add them to the site.
There's nothing in these files that indicate the audio language or anything, so
there's no way to filter it out in the script as far as I can tell.

I really don't understand you. The Dutch channel only lists the Dutch episodes,
trust me, I know, I have a daughter.

I don't use the "nickelodeon.no/program" at all, I don't know why you keep
saying that. I use http://www.nickelodeon.no/kanalen/29, which should be the
Norwegian version.

Just update XOT-Uzg.v3 with the new official Nick channel and see if they work.

Still the same. The titles are the only thing that is correct. And when I go to
nickelodeon.nl and browse the videos, the listing is different.
Most of the cartoons in the nickelodeon.se is german, and some of them dutch.
Have you gone through them yourself and listened? Because the "kanalen/#" only
gives you the tv listing, and does not control the language.

I notice the new Nickelodeon.se and tried to watch some program. I only get the
list of all programs and when I tried to open one of them I can only see the
Loading directories. I waited a long time and then I pressed Cancel. I have
tested several of them with the same result.
Now I understand why they won't start. It's not Swedish Nickelodeon. I can see
a few program in Swedish (Swedish titles) and they will start but the ones that
won't start has English titles.

Language has nothing to do with it.

There are 3 Nickelodeon channels in XOT: Dutch (not German), Swedish and
Norwegian. Each lists the correct shows and if there are videos with titles
available it will show those if you select that show.

If none are available a message is shown, but a bug in XBMC makes it fall
behind the progressbar.

Now if you still think it's wrong please tell me what channel (ignore the Dutch
one), what show and what episode is wrong. So names. I also need you to attach.
A complete uzgplugin.log.

Also check the corresponding website and see if it's correct there.

Still the same. In the norwegian nickelodeon, most shows do not work, and the
ones that do work are in swedish. And the episode lineup is still just the
episodes that air on the actual channel today, and not the episodes on the site.
And on the norwegian nickelodeon, there are still swedish, danish, Finish and
german episodes, but no norwegian ones.
So I'm starting to see what the problem here is.
The show schedule you've added to the nickelodeon file are today's shows on the
actual channel. And since not all the episodes on their servers are available
in all the different languages, It'll just pick the episodes that are there.

Ok, this is the very last post to this issue without EXAMPLES! Give me names of
shows that are wrong! Not just "Some shows". I can't do anything with that. And
stop talking about languages and broadcast times. I use these URLs directly
from the sites:

Norwegian version: http://www.nickelodeon.no/kanalen/29
Swedish version: http://www.nickelodeon.se/kanaler/30

Please open them and see what shows and episodes are on those pages. Those
shows are displayed exactly as they appear on the site and even the episodes
are correct. So if there are Danish episodes in XOT, they are also on the site.

Now for the last time: please compare XOT with the nickelodeon sites (shows
without a title are ignored). If they are equal, my work is done. If they
differ, then give me examples (Show - Episode).

I was only trying to watch them and if I go to nickelodeon.se and try to watch
Victorious I get this message "Sorry, this video is unavailable from your
location" so it was GEO-locked as I suspected. The other user that started this
issue have to finish it.

iCarly has many episodes http://www.nickelodeon.se/program/342-icarly on the

yes, because only 2 have a title. Like I said, the others will all appear the
same in XOT and make no sense like that, hence they are not shown.

This is very strange... When I watch the same episode of "SvampBob Fyrkant" it
is in Swedish when I run it inside my web browser but when I use XOT it's Dutch
(I think it's Dutch).

hmm, I get "Sorry, this video is unavailable from your location" on every
episode I try to watch in FireFox but in Chrome it works. I must have some
filter running inside FF. So you can ignore that. Victorious is working.

I was watching this http://www.nickelodeon.se/program/474-svampbob-fyrkant and
here are the log files from XBMC and XOT on the same episode that was in Dutch,
not Swedish like in the web browser.

Ok forget it then. You don't understand what I mean. I don't blame you though.
The shows and episodes that are listed there are their schedule for today, and
not the videos on demand on their site.
All the episodes of all the shows are in different languages depending on what
language they've been uploaded in to their servers.
The only english speaking show there is Jake & Josh because it has obviously
not dubbed.
But if you can find a way to list the videos on the site rather than the
today's schedule, this problem would've been fixed.
I found the epg for nickelodeon.no's video site, but it doesn't work when i try
it out. It's http://nickelodeon.no/video/epg
So if you can figure out how to make that list work instead, that'll solve
these problems.
If you don't, then don't worry about it. You've been working forever on this
one.
So thanks:)

And since you want me to be more specific. The only working show on the
norwegian list as of now is Spongebob. And now there are two episodes there.
One in Swedish and the other one in Icelandic or Finish
In the Dutch list, Drake and Josh works (like I said because they are only in
one language). And most of the other shows are usually in Dutch, and some in
German, but you didn't want me to focus on the Dutch one, so that's okay. But
like I said, it's the today's schedule, so all these 3 lists of episodes and
shows (Norwegian, Dutch and Swedish) will change in 2 hours from now.

And again, I'm sorry if you don't understand everything I say. English is not
my first language, and I suck at grammar. Even in Norwegian:)
As for the swedish list, most spongebob episodes are in German. But it really
is hit and miss between all the shows and episodes.
And for the shows that doesn't work, I'm pretty sure that's because today's
episodes aren't uploaded to their servers.
When I go to the dutch nickelodeon site, I see that most of the episodes are
uploaded, and that's why almost everything works there.

Well, I believe (and understand) what you say, but for me the only way to show
video's is if they are on their site somewhere and apparently they are not (and
if they are they are sometimes incorrect). So for now I will leave it the way
it is, until they fix their website.
