What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set a thick border (Crop shot tab, Region size > Border=40.)
(Such thickness will never be used, but this is just to illustrate the problem.)
2. Select a well-defined rectangular shape on the screen for this experiment.
Start a crop shot (CTRL+PrntScrn). Click mouse to position the anchor point at
one corner of the target shape. Start dragging toward the opposite end.
3. Without releasing the mouse, observe where the border is; and how much of
the target shape you can actually see.
You will find that the captured area is defined by the center-line of the
border. In other words, the edge of the target shape is hidden behind the thick
border. As a direct result, it is very difficult to draw the capture area when
the border is thick.
The precise position of the cross-hair can be seen only in the magnifier. If
the magnifier is not turned on, this is impossible.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The cross-hair should be aligned with the INSIDE edge of the border (not its
center-line).
(When the rectangle is drawn, the target capture area should be fully visible
INSIDE the rectangle. It should not be hidden under half of the border.)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.0 Win 7/XP
