program has stopped working after install #499

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. opening the program
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

windows tells me that the program has stopped working

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Copy text from Debug tab

im on windows 7 hope premium 64bit and i have tried all versions of the product 
and still get the same outcome, I cant get to the debug tab as i cant open the 
program

Please provide any additional information below.

it wont even start up, i install it, open it, and as soon as i click it it says 
"zscreen has stopped working."

Also i have tried running it as administrator, both the program and the 
installer. 
I have turned off my av and any other protection to see if that is causing 
something to malffunction.
I have fixed my .NET framework 3.5.

All of thse lead to the same outcome

Hi

Uninstall ZScreen

Have you tried the latest 
http://code.google.com/p/zscreen/downloads/detail?name=ZScreen-4.2.1.2360-setup.
exe&can=2&q= ? 

Go to %appdata%\ZScreen and delete Settings
or 
Go to My Documents\ZScreen and delete Settings

Try again please

i downloaded the latest version still didnt work.

When i uninstalled it i couldnt find anything left in %appdata% or My Documents.

While i had it installed i removed from the Program Files folder.
after that i also removed it from %ProgramData%

I reinstalled it and it did the same again.
Also in the Program Files, i tried all the .exe's in the folder, and only the 
un-installer worked.

Jack, sorry but out of over 50000 installs of zscreen 
http://code.google.com/p/zscreen/downloads/list?can=2&q=&sort=-downloadcount&col
spec=Filename%20Summary%20Uploaded%20Size%20DownloadCount, this can never be 
considered as a defect. Most probably you will have this issue sorted the day 
you re-install Windows or try it on another machine.
