Capture without storing the captured image in the clipboard #524

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?
An option to capture only to file without a copy in the clipboard.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
I am using Ditto to keep a list of "copied" information.
When I want to save something from the screen to a file, I do not need a copy
in the Ditto-database.
If, as part of capturing, the clipboard must be used, it could be cleared, but
it would be better not to use the clipboard at all, if the user selects this
option.

Choose Outputs without Clipboard

For a beginner it is not clear, that the options areand and not or.
It would be useful to have checkboxes for the selection of the required output.
Currently too much depends on the colour-settings of the users.
Thus without wanting it too many outputs can be selected.

What's perfect to Person A is not perfect enough to Person B and not perfect
for Person C. That's how the world works.

While checkboxes seem the excellent solution for you, it will not be an
excellent solution for another person.

Looking at
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/25501373/ZScreen/2011-08/Screenshot-2011-08-07_16.37.20.
png you will see that having checkBoxes will over-crowd the GUI.

I am not sure why you used a lot of idioms and quotations for your reply.

I amn in EDV since 1962!
I agree with you that you can please some people all time, all people some
time, but cannot please all people all time.
Checkboxes are standard but there are other methods also to make certain that
you see what is selected and what is not.
Currently it is not always possible with zscreen.

I find your program good, but not yet perfect. This is why I come up with
suggestions how to improve it.
