Clicking line number of Chrome Developer console is showing red dot instead of blue marker for breakpoint and not stopping at breakpoints #8787

Breakpoints in Chrome

need to click line number to set breakpoint for JavaScript file in Dev Console. After Chrome update it is showing red dots instead of Blue marker for breakpoints. Also, code is not stopping at these poitns.

I'm glad this isn't just me, because I am going crazy trying to figure this out. I mean, I don't really care if it's a red dot or a blue marker, but it just doesn't work properly now. If I click a line it often puts red dots all over the place, and is generally broken.

Same issue here. I'm sure it is a user error but can someone point it out please?
