The xee package requires Python >= 3.9. Do all xee dependencies require Python >= 3.9? If not, it would be great to relax the lower bound to 3.8. That would make it easier for downstream packages to add xee as a dependency. The Python 3.8 secuiry support ends on 14 Oct 2024. There are users still using Python 3.8.
