Some help is really appreciated. We are facing a huge battery drain under Google Play Service
. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my app as this issue happens once my app has run. Would like to see if I can see anything from the battery historian tool as the battery section doesn't show drain for my app (all drain is shown under Google Play Services)
Am also facing the same issue. Can someone update if there's been any resolution to this issue?
Please check here #147
Same issue here:
bugreport.zip does not contain a valid bugreport file
just unzip bugreport.zip and upload bugreport.txt .
Nearly 3 years later this is still an issue!
The tool doesn't even work with the officially documented process! That even despite its name being "battery" historian.
I've moved from older Android 6 based platform development to Android 10 and am so disappointed in what it takes to view battery logs now. I used to just have to run a python script and then I could open the generated html in my browser. Super simple. Trivial to ask testers to dump battery stats. Now I have have a docker container that takes up hundreds of megabytes, figure out what the docker IP address is (localhost as documentation says to use doesn't work), and then find out I can even view the batterystats generated by dumpsys. This is a massive over-engineering just to use Golang instead of python IMO.
