Memory usage #415

Hello,

I have gcp-connector running on my synology NAS, which I admit is quite short in terms of memory, BUT, it displays a total of over 800MV of total memory used by this connector ! I find this to be quite a lot, I know "only" about 200MB are resident and the rest is swapped or somewhere else, but nonetheless, 200MB is still huge for such a simple tool ! I tried to outsource it to some other PC, but the config does not allow me to point it to cups running on my NAS, somehow it will always connect to the cups running locally... Is there a way to : 1- reduce memory usage 2- allow the connector to be executed on a device that does not host cups

I'm only running one printer (MFC7320 by Brother) on this NAS for info.

Thanks in advance,

Regards, ToXiC.
