Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Found three cases where however carrier mapping table maps two emji together
they are semantically very different. We might want to consider disunifying
them.

e-32F: KDDI #449 熱=fever vs SoftBank #9 表情(ぽっ)= blush, blush
with embarrassment or
shame

e-537: Docomo #171 Chair vs SoftBank #264 Seat, which is used to signify
reserved seat.

e-1CB: KDDI #716 CENTIPEDE vs SoftBank #134 Hairy caterpillar.

Apple/Google:

e-32F: Rename to FLUSHED FACE

e-537: Keep as one symbol, but change the glyph to look more like SoftBank #264
and
rename to SEAT.

e-1CB: Rename to BUG. No glyph change. Add notes about centipede vs. hairy
caterpillar. "Typically distasteful."

Fixed in r125.

All the name changes agreed to plus a new descriptive note for BUG and a design
note
for SEAT.
