e-B45 CROSS MARK
I would like an annotation to suggest to harmonize the design with U+26E2 as
they are
used together.
Question: are you saying that the current design is not right? Or do you just
want
there to be a note saying that U=26E2 is a pair?
e-B4A WHITE HEAVY CHECK MARK
The reason is not unified with "U+2714 HEAVY CHECK MARK" was not apparent from
the
comment.
A: In this case, both e-b49 and e-b4a are heavy check marks. Once we unify
e-b49 with
U-2714, then what is left is U+2713, which is **not heavy** and should not be
unified
with e-b4a. So using the principle outlined here:
http://sites.google.com/site/unicodesymbols/Home/emoji-symbols/chart-legend
"For cases where color is the only source distinction, the convention is to map
to
BLACK and WHITE where there are two choices, and to BLACK, WHITE, and CHECKERED
where
there are three, and to BLACK, WHITE, CHECKERED. and STRIPED where there are
four."
We came up with BLACK-WHITE naming in this case. We can add a note to explain
this
briefly.

Right.

e-B4A WHITE HEAVY CHECK MARK
Sorry I was looking at the wrong chart (design.html). The note is not necessary
as it is clear from how it is represented in utc.html.

Looks like Kat and Kida-san are in agreement for additional annotations on
e-B44 and
e-B45.

Fixed in r134 by adding annotation notes to HEAVY LARGE CIRCLE and CROSS MARK.
