e-B52 HEAVY MINUS SIGN looks like a square in the .png file, not like a minus #89

The font glyph look ok. Is this a problem with the glyph (bounding box??) 
or with the rendering to .png?

Compare e-B52 in the HTML chart which uses the .png file with the same 
symbol in the PDF which uses the font glyph:

Not a glyph problem.
