Creating a new Hebrew Script Font #2279

I am planning to create one or more fonts and want a little more information. The fonts I want to contribute to the google font library are for Hebrew characters. Do I still need the basic latin characters to exist in the font even if they are just placeholders?

If the latin characters are required, is it possible to use characters from another (base) font?

The primary reason for creating this font is that Hebrew script characters don't seem to exist in Google Fonts and therefor can't be used in Google Docs. (A frequent request I am getting from teachers.) There also don't seem to be any projects in progress for getting a font like this into the google font library.

Thank you.

You can take any font from Google Fonts and create Hebrew for a ready-made font. Screenshot_62 Screenshot_63
