Open ThomasHabets opened 10 years ago

ThomasHabets commented 10 years ago

Original issue 116 created by andcycle on 2011-11-03T12:14:40.000Z:

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Add token 2.manual input account, and incorrect key 3.Done 4.back to the main page, find out it's wrong, the token doesn't match 5.pressed Edit, no response at all

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? has token listed there, and able to delete after I found it's incorrect

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? iPhone ver. 1.1.4.755

I have the same issue. This seems to only occur on iOS >= 5. Any news?

I can confirm that on 1.1.4.757 the edit button only works after clicking on the "Legal Information" button.

This bug is still present in iPhone version 1.1.5.757, but the work-around mentioned above still works.

Google should fix this as a user expects a vital security application to be bug free and as easy to use as possible i.e. we shouldn't need to come to this page to work out how to edit an entry!

I can also verify this is a bug and that the workaround (pressing Legal) does work. I would note that this happens without adding a wrong key - I simply had been issued a new key and wanted to remove the old one and could not.

App v 1.1.4.757 / iOS v 5.1.1

Sad that users have to do more work to work around a bug.

I'm still getting this issue as well, but the legal information button fixed it. Very strange.

It seems to me that this issue has been resolved. I was also experiencing the problem, but in the current version of authenticator for iOS (2.01.2118), I am able to edit entries successfully.
