Feature Request: Rearrange the order of your accounts #117

Closed ThomasHabets closed 10 years ago

ThomasHabets commented 10 years ago

Original issue 118 created by FlintB on 2011-11-09T07:30:09.000Z:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Version 0.73 on Android version 2.3.7

Please provide any additional information below. I'm using Google Authenticator to manage many different accounts. I'd like the ability to rearrange the order of my accounts in GA.

It is fine for it to be difficult, and I am no coder, but if no one is take a swing at it, it will never get done. If you are a coder, go for it mate, I will only give you encouragement, I am not here to harass anyone.

Absolutely ridiculous. Welcome to mediocre Google. I am now an Authy user as well and it's 2015...

How's the status of this feature?

ThomasHabets commented 8 years ago

As you'll see, the status of this issue is "closed". For more details, see rest of thread.

Holy crap, is this really something that's not possible, and has not been done after all this time? Such standard operations should not be able to be requested and denied... Good grief. This is the one thing stopping me from adopting this app more than I have to. I don't want to have to remove all my accounts just to re-add them in the order I want every time I add a new one.

@matt-tatnell 1) your pull request must have gotten lost somewhere. Could you send it again? 2) Like the comment before yours says, please read the rest of the thread before commenting, especially if you're going to rant.

I knew how bad google was but this is just too funny lol.

ThomasHabets commented 8 years ago

I'll just repeat, then:

1) This issue refers to the Android version. 2) This issue tracker does not track Android feature requests 3) Ergo, the bug is closed

Hilariously enough though: an update was just pushed to my phone today finally adding the reorder feature. Better late than never I guess! :)

I'm glad your entitlement worked out for you.
