Since https://github.com/google/google-authenticator/issues/236 already asks for PIN, I'm changing this feature request to be about fingerprint.

FYI: The version in Google Play Store / Apple App store is not the same as this opensource version. They've diverged. This opensource version is also unlikely to end up in the app stores. This open source version doesn't get much love, but I'll accept well-written pull requests. But don't expect this feature to be implemented by Google.

On my Huawei P10 Lite phone, which have Android 7.x, one can put an app lock on an app, meaning that the security part of Android will require a successful authentication using a PIN code or a finger print, before that app will be started.
