feat: an easier way to input TOTP into a laptop #649

So even though this isn’t maintained/the actual apps in the stores AFAICT this is the only bug tracker related to gAuth?

Anyway, this is a feature request to help usage of this app with phone beside the laptop. The idea is to have to laptop’s webcam read the phone’s screen, saving people the trouble of typing 6 digits in less than the few seconds allowed. This may also help people with reading or typing disabilities.

On the laptop there would be some kind of app, maybe a browser extension, that’ll open when needed, scan the code off the phone and fill the text box with the result. The extension would be open source, only allowed to work on certain pages of certain websites.

Maybe a QRcode is not the best way to share a few bits of information visually between a smartphone and a laptop. Security wise people nearby may be able to pick up the code and use it before/at the same time. Finally a webcam is probably not to be trusted.

I have not found something like this yet. I would like it to be easier to input my codes on my laptop though I see many issue with my suggestion. I am finally writing this here so we can have some discussion.

A better solution I think is bluetooth, and there's emerging standards for web BT I think.
