Broke my phone (Cant use authenticator now) #670

I broke my phone today, completely shattered as it fell on cement. I can no longer login to anything that needs my authenticator. What are my options?

Use your recovery codes or other alternative authenticator applications to login :/? google-authenticator doesn't have backup support, unlike Authy.

It depends on the accounts, but you may or may not be able to generate recovery codes with whatever services you were using google-authenticator with. Example (Facebook).

You're likely going to have to get in touch with the systems administrators, if you don't have access, and prove your identity via some other way.
