Timeline feature request : vertical bar indicating current date/time

What would you like to see us add to this API?

What would be great is to have the possibility to add an optional indicator (red vertical
bar maybe ?) to display current date or time (or another arbitrary date/time).
My company plans to use timeline widget to display products availability (they have
start date and end date), and it would be much easier to figure out what moment we
are in product availability window.

What component is this issue related to (PieChart, LineChart, DataTable,
Query, etc)?

Being able to have a vertical line to represent today would be really useful.

Specific events that can be indicated with vertical lines would be *brilliant*. Even
better: when the events take up more than one point in time, have it be expandable
to a band across the entire timeline for the relevant interval. Variable transparency,
of course. Plus tooltip and/or annotation.
