Purpose

Extend the Troubleshooting Guide

Description

Now and then users ask on Stack Overflow why their custom adapter is not used. This tries to address some of the common causes.

Maybe the "Solution" section is a bit verbose; any feedback regarding that section and in general is appreciated!
