The deploy.sh script replaces the string __ARTIFICAT_ID__ in pom.xml files during deploy but the variable should be spelt __ARTIFIACT_ID__. However given that this target is used in downstream projects it would need to be fixed across several repositories. So it may be best to leave it as is until work is done in this area again.
