Request for Just a simple "Copy" button for characters #1213

I'm using Material Design Icons font ( ttf ) for Polybar Ricing. But it seems its really a pain to copy an Icon. It has a search and filter feature, good, It has almost all features to use in Angular (For Web Dev) and also Mobile and Desktop App Dev. But its really Surprising that this amazing "thing" doesn't have a simple option that helps linux ricers - A button to copy an icon.

Please add it. I know theres issues like that, but they end up in alternatives. This is not an alternative request instead a request to make the official product better.

Do you want to copy the private use character code? Or the icon name that can work as a ligature?

I imagine such a feature might work best if it offered both options.

@tphinney I meant to copy an icon as a ttf icon, so that we can use in text configurations. I guess both would be good, I accept that.

Oh! An entirely different function. Get just the one glyph as a single-glyph font file.
