"StarredSegments" object has no attribute "_visible" on release 2.37 #510

When using the neuroglancer python version 2.37 from pip to generate states, I'm getting

'StarredSegments' object has no attribute '_visible'

On any operation involving segmentation layer segments. I am not seeing the same error on 2.36.
