In order to address issue #13, adding examples. One for qmhl, one for vqt.

General note: a lot of the qmhl_tutorial feedback from farice applies to vqt_tutorial too. I will try to incorporate this in the next days.

After discussion with Tom, we decided it makes sense to put off resolving my two main comments to issues #104 and #105
