Error coming from Recaptcha script on Instagram/Facebook browser #462

Issue description Starting from June 16th we've started seeing many errors coming from the Recpatcha script when a page was opened from Facebook/Instagram browsers.

This is the error: null is not an object (evaluating 'J.style')

This is the script version (Recaptcha v2): https://www.gstatic.com/recaptcha/releases/FDTCuNjXhn1sV0lk31aK53uB/recaptcha__en.js

Couldn't find anything online about this so posting here to generate visibility for this issue. Thanks!

up, similar error here, in IOS devices only, receiving only this: {"success": false, "error-codes": ["browser-error"]}

Same here. It seems to have started sometime in July and affects the Instagram browser on iOS. Facebook/Messenger browser seems to work fine.

Hey there!

Same issue here. I'm trying to access a page (via instagram profile link) that has Recaptcha V3, but there is no success. It shows browser-error.

we are losing real clients because of this weird thing....no one is not taking responsibility to fix this! since 3 years. We are now migrating to cloud flare's Captcha (Turnstile) because of this!!! Good job Google keep in this way!
