I'm Mario Pucci CEO and CTO (the first on businnes card, the second in my mind) of T-Line srl a tech company based in Milan, Italy.
As my habit, entering a new "group" deserve a small presentation before give contribution or ask for help.
T-Line embed four different business units, three of them "related" to Uribeacon:
1) Techology and marketing consulting
2) QR-Code
3) Electronic design (the younger one)
Since we own and maintain since 2010 our QRCode marketing platform (http://www.qrlab.it) with a couple of vertical, enabled even via RFID, was a natural path to complete our offer with xBeacon tecnology.
End 2013 we developed some prototype (and something more) using both BLE and ANT on Nordic nrf51422 and 51822 soc (using our android and ios app), then we approached other soc like Cypress psoc4 BLE to test smething different. Discovering Uribeacon was a real joy for us
At the moment I dont think we are going to "sell" beacons because everyone can buy it from Chinese marketplace at a fraction of cost (my last proto buy settled around 5 to 7 usd for samples on 51822). As we are used to say "no money from iron....", we concentrate on services and consulting
To cut a long story short, with our xBeecon brand (based on our Beetag) are depicting a business plan for next 3 years completely self financed.We are finding our way on Bluetooth SIG (already "observer" members) and pointing to a full certification (maybe only CE because our target market is Europe): the latter is a "gray" area for most of the finished products in the market.
