Clean up demo #14

Removed tabs, fixed incorrect closing tag, use a background color with more contrast.

Changes LGTM. Verified that the color you suggested contrasts better than the current light grey (which looks a little close to white on some monitors). The new bg color happens to also be in our Material Design palettes.
