toast does not work on Safari

Hi,

I am trying the elements from polymer 1.0 demo and I noticed that the toast element does not work on Safari Mac and iOS! https://elements.polymer-project.org/elements/paper-toast?active=paper-toast&view=demo:demo/index.html

is there a way to get it work?!
